The Yemenite Shofar is made from the Kudo, a type of antelope, horn. The silver plating is beautifully hand applied after the shofar has been properly processed to kosher standards. This shofar is decorated with the Olive Branch. The olive tree is one of the most mention throughout Scripture. It was the olive branch that the dove brought to Noah, the doorposts of the entrance to the Temple in Jerusalem were made from olive wood and it is used as a metaphor for Grafting In the faith.
