The Yemenite Shofar is made from the Kudo, a type of antelope, horn. The silver plating is beautifully hand applied after the shofar has been properly processed to kosher standards. This shofar is decorated with the Pomegranate, a very important symbol in Judaic culture and religion. It is used to represent the blessing to be fruitful and multiply. Its seeds said to number 613, the same number of mitzvot (good deeds) found in the Torah.
