The Yemenite Shofar is made from the Kudo, a type of antelope, horn. The silver plating is beautifully hand applied after the shofar has been properly processed to kosher standards. This shofar is decorated with the Star of David, or in Hebrew, Magan David (Shield of David). The Star of David is the symbol most commonly associated with Judaism today. It represents the shape of King David's shield. The Star of David is the universally recognized symbol of Jewry. It appears on the flag of the state of Israel.
